MihoYo’s latest free-to-play mobile RPG, released last week, has swiftly become a global phenomenon, exceeding 50 million downloads in just a few days since its debut. While console enthusiasts can enjoy the game exclusively on PS5, PC players are left in limbo, awaiting a possible release date that remains uncertain.
The official PlayStation YouTube channel recently published a trailer celebrating the release of, which culminates with a formal confirmation that the game has secured exclusive rights to the PlayStation platform. According to the trailer, the motion RPG will remain exclusive to the PS5 console for at least six months following its launch, indicating it won’t arrive on non-PlayStation platforms until at the earliest January. Although there’s a strong likelihood that PlayStation exclusivity may ultimately persist for a period exceeding the officially announced six months, it’s worth noting that miHoYo’s previous free-to-play RPGs have remained inaccessible to Xbox and Switch users thus far.
