Playtonic Games’ latest release, which debuted on PC just over a year ago, is set to expand its reach by landing on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo platforms – potentially including the next-generation Switch. Attendees at EGX London 2024 will have the opportunity to experience the immersive “Glitterglaze Glacier” stage first-hand from October 25th to 27th. You’ll be able to test it out amongst different revamped levels beneath.
A revamped re-release of the 2017 original boasts significantly enhanced graphics, reinvigorated animation sequences, and optimized performance for a smoother gaming experience. Despite the imperative to prevent Capital B from pilfering all global literature, new obstacles arise, including refined control mechanics, enhanced camera functionality, a novel currency for the Vendi, and a comprehensive world map. Monitoring challenges later assists in addition to the former.
In Vendi’s realm, the innovative vending machine seamlessly dispenses novel tonics, allowing you to personalize your experience with customizable items for Yooka and Laylee. Additionally, renowned composers Grant Kirkhope and David Smart have transformed the sport’s iconic soundtrack into a majestic orchestral score.
