The franchise has experienced a remarkable surge in popularity across all platforms, but surprisingly, the Nintendo Switch was an exception – until now. Sega has finally confirmed that its iconic collection will arrive on Nintendo Switch in October, after being announced for release back in August; the game is available now.
In this remake of a classic title, players are transported to the vibrant yet densely populated open world of Kamurocho, where they follow the early exploits of Kazuma Kiryu, the iconic protagonist of one of his most memorable crime sagas. In this remake, fresh narrative content revolves around Akira Nishikiyama and Goro Majima, with the latter appearing as a recurring random foe that Kiryu must face off against multiple times. Take a peek at this trailer to get a glimpse of what the sport looks like on Switch.
Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully, this change of pace will clear the way for additional titles to return to Nintendo’s platform seamlessly.
