No, you’re not experiencing déjà vu – this phenomenon has previously occurred twice in the future, with this revelation immediately following the aftermath of the Longdue announcement and another indie studio’s emergence from former Disco staff members.
The debut title from Darkish Math Games may be a solo-venture science-fiction role-playing game promising profound complexity and innovative gameplay features.
In a dystopian 2086, Nightshift awakens to find himself teleported into the shoes of “Patrol Operative” Dinorah Katz. Stranded at a luxurious ski resort in Antarctica’s frozen vastness, Katz finds himself marooned among an eclectic assortment of individuals. You’ll be resolving predicaments and interacting with fellow travelers to facilitate gameplay and uncover the secrets surrounding the resort’s enigmatic residents.

You’ll engage in intense suspect interrogation, manipulate sci-fi world dynamics through innovative mechanics, and make pivotal decisions that reshape the narrative’s trajectory.

Amidst the turmoil surrounding Disco Elysium’s developer, ZA/UM, this studio emerges as the most recent iteration, its creation stemming from the fallout of rancid vibes that marred the reputation of the original team – a complicated web of backroom dealings, counter-accusations, and unflattering stories. Following the sudden departure of key figures from the studio, the writing seemed starkly evident on the wall; yet, amidst the chaos, a new opportunity emerged in the form of Darkish Math, one of the latest ventures to rise from the ashes.
