The narrative continuity is maintained as humanity flees the ravaged planet on board the USS White Whale, allowing for a seamless transition into the game’s next chapter. As their shuttle crash-lands on Mira’s unforgiving surface, the colonists spring into action, establishing a makeshift settlement while launching a desperate bid to locate and extract any remaining survivors from the ravaged Lifeholds of the White Whale. While exploring the uncharted territories of Mira, a sudden encounter with alien life forms sparks a conflict.
