At Gamescom, Saber Interactive and Focus Leisure unveiled fresh gameplay footage in anticipation of the highly anticipated game’s release, simultaneously shedding light on its comprehensive beauty customization features. In this reimagined take on the classic, players will likely bring high expectations to the table.
Judging by the latest details unveiled in a Steam post, it seems that the game will offer extensive options to players. According to Saber’s vision, the Armouring Corridor will serve as a central hub for character customization, where players can choose their class, attire, abilities, and aesthetic components. Each class has its own unique collection of pre-constructed armor sets that can be unlocked through gameplay in both PvE Operations and PvP Everlasting Battle modes.
Within the Astartes Chapters tab, gamers can select from a range of presets inspired by “numerous legendary Space Marine Chapters”. The sport will also offer the option to craft your unique customised armoured units, allowing you to select from various options for your helm, pauldrons, breastplate, wargear, gauntlets, and greaves, all of which can be unlocked through engaging PvE and PvP modes.
Customization options for all armor units – both pre-made and tailored – will feature entirely distinct paint jobs, insignias, and colour schemes, accessible via the Heraldry menu, where players can unlock a vast array of possibilities or create their unique designs from scratch. The Heretic Astartes can be tailored for competitive play, each class linked to a distinct Traitor Legion, offering diverse color palette and emblem customization options.
Saber Interactive previously confirmed that the game won’t feature microtransactions, but will instead release paid DLC in the form of weapon and character packs after launch, which will expand the game’s beauty customization options further. This offer includes, in addition to free content upgrades, support for both Operations and Eternal Conquest.
debuts on September 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
