With Saber Interactive’s highly anticipated motion video game mere days away from release – just 12 days remaining for standard users, and eight days for those who have pre-ordered the Gold or Ultra Edition – excitement is building. The developer has bundled its August group patch with a wealth of new information, including confirmation on Performance and Quality mode options for console users.
While High quality Mode delivers 4K/30 FPS gaming, Efficiency Mode optimizes performance for up to 60 FPS at 1080p resolution on both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. Unfortunately, the latter is not accessible on Xbox Series S, and the previous version only manages a resolution of 1440p at 30 frames per second.
For PC gamers, the availability of Nvidia’s DLSS 2 and AMD’s FSR2 technologies is expected to coincide with the game’s launch, while the more advanced versions, including DLSS 3 and FSR3, are anticipated to be rolled out at a later time. No ray tracing or HDR assistance is available; a wide-screen assist feature is expected to be added by the end of September. The Steam Deck’s assist functionality will require a slightly longer timeframe to complete, with a current focus on achieving a 2024 finish.
launches on September ninth. Check out the latest trailer below and get all the details you need to know.
