Fears about a potential release delay had been mounting earlier this week for those eagerly anticipating Souls-like game Enotria: The Final Tune’s arrival on Xbox, slated for September 19. However, the developers recently announced that the game’s model for that platform would be indefinitely postponed. Phil Spencer and his team have now made contact, signaling that Xbox Enotria’s impact will be felt as soon as possible.
When news first broke about Jyamma Games’ decision to cancel its Xbox release due to “a lack of communication” from Microsoft regarding the certification process, it seemed like a sudden and unexpected move.
The studio has confirmed that issues are once more being observed. “We would like to take a moment to formally express our gratitude to Phil Spencer and his team for their prompt response and assistance in resolving our situation. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our outstanding community, who have been incredibly supportive during this time.” The passion and commitment you’ve demonstrated have truly resonated with us, and we’re deeply grateful for the time and effort you’ve invested.
“We’re currently collaborating closely with Microsoft to expedite the launch of the sport on Xbox, and we’re optimistic that our joint efforts will yield a timely release.” All appears to end well regarding Enotria; the studio’s tweet states: “The facility of the gaming community is truly impressive!”
Within the midst of this situation, Jyamma turned to social media to inform people: “We’re eager to launch our game on Xbox as soon as possible, but the lack of communication from their side makes it a challenging task indeed. The game performs well on Series S and X, but we can’t navigate the submission process without their response, which could take up to two months.”
