Vestiges: Fallen Tribes is set to debut on Steam Early Access next month, combining the strategic depth of a card game with the intense action of an auto-battler.
In the aftermath of introducing optional PC VR support over the past year, Vestiges: Fallen Tribes from WanadevStudio (Ragnarock, Propagation: Paradise Lodge) unfolds within a sci-fi universe heavily influenced by ancient Egyptian civilization. As you battle for control of a scarce water supply on an arid desert planet, you must strategically build a deck of 20 custom playing cards and carefully position collectible miniatures across the terrain, allowing them to regularly engage in intense combat with enemy forces until one side emerges victorious.
At a recent press launch, WanadevStudio announced that the early access period will feature both private and public matchmaking options, allowing players to engage in competitive matches against others to ascend the rankings. Within its initial launch, the game features deckbuilding mechanics, progressively challenging solo missions that allow for customization and reward players, along with leaderboards to track performance. The studio also plans to release an Early Entry Roadmap shortly, providing a glimpse into future updates and developments.
While the initial Steam demo is no longer available, you can still view gameplay footage below.
