Is definitely coming this year, as previously planned, but its launch plans have undergone significant changes. Following the recent unveiling of the co-op action-adventure game’s release window, Microsoft and developer Stoic Studio have provided further details about the upcoming title’s early access launch.
Regrettably, the initial Xbox launch in a month’s time will be limited to Steam alone, leaving many fans of the platform disappointed and underserved. The launch date remains undisclosed, with only Stoic and Microsoft hinting that the game will debut in the Xbox Game Preview program at an unspecified “later” time.
The title’s upcoming full launch has also been substantiated, which will feature a free-to-play model; however, an Early Access Founder’s Pack is planned for those who opt in earlier.
According to game director Daniel McLaren, the Founder’s pack enables the resolution of two primary concerns: “it allows us to gradually identify where issues are arising and focus attention on these areas promptly.” “The second factor invites a group of individuals who are genuinely invested in the game and truly believe in Stoicism.” To become a key player in shaping the future direction?
Is available now for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Launching in early access on Steam on September 10?
