Logitech has unveiled four sleek new gaming mouse models that have left me impressed by their design aesthetic. While I’m not a devotee of Genshin Impact, the game’s stylish and colorful figurines make them an automatic purchase for fans of this popular free-to-play title.
Genshin Impact and Logitech collaborate on a joint venture, marking their first step towards expanding into gaming peripherals, with the newly launched Logitech G309 Lightspeed and G305 Lightspeed gaming mice serving as the inaugural products in this partnership.
The primary design influence behind Genshin Impact’s character concept is attributed to the G309 Lightspeed, which serves as a functional template for Kamisato Ayaka’s character development. Throughout the device, a distinctive design is consistently printed on both the left and right-clicking buttons, while the side buttons currently display a pink hue; simultaneously, an Ayaka signature is prominently showcased on the palm rest.
The new mouse is expected to hit the market in November 2024, with a preliminary launch window for pre-ordering on Amazon soon. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight Wireless Gaming Mouse has officially launched in the United States, Canada, mainland China, and Japan, with a price tag of $79.99, making it comparable to the entry-level G309 Lightspeed model in terms of cost.
I’m currently using the Logitech G309 Lightspeed, a gaming mouse that, despite not being the most conventional choice in 2024, excels as an excellent option for gamers with larger hands or those seeking an abundance of battery life due to its 600-hour Bluetooth lifespan and 300-hour 2.4GHz endurance, all while providing a sturdy 86g weight and reliable AA battery power supply? When combined with a Powerplay charging pad, you can eliminate the need for AA batteries, reducing the overall mouse weight to just 68g, ensuring seamless performance without worrying about running out of power again?
Three additional wireless mouse models are expected to debut next year, featuring the Logitech G305 Lightspeed design and characters inspired by Genshin Impact’s Sayu, Thoma, and Shikanoin Heizou. Single-color designs distinguish these from the full-color capabilities of the G309 Lightspeed. Costs have not been confirmed for these mice as of yet?
During the LogiPLAYS event, a notable development emerged, as Logitech unveiled its innovative Logitech Astro A50 gaming headset, alongside the game-changing Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 gaming mouse.
