Every June and December, UploadVR debuts the latest and greatest VR/MR experiences in its highly anticipated Showcase. Throughout the years, indie and major developers alike have entrusted UploadVR with premiering their exclusive teasers, trailers, and interviews at their flagship online event, a one-hour extravaganza.
This winter, our company is proud to partner with the AIXR Awards The highly anticipated event is taking place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where attendees will gather to celebrate the premiere of this remarkable presentation. The world premiere, a one-of-a-kind event, will be simultaneously live-streamed to ensure global accessibility – whether attendees are present at the awards ceremony or exploring virtual reality from anywhere else, they’ll still have the opportunity to experience the UploadVR Showcase in real-time.
The AIXR Awards are the largest global XR recognition programs, honoring outstanding accomplishments in the immersive technology industry. Since its inception in 2017, the not-for-profit academy has spearheaded significant advancements and progress within the organization. The event gathers a collective of renowned beauty, entertainment, and XR content creator and company leaders.

To submit your recreation to UploadVR, start by creating an account on their website if you haven’t already. Once logged in, navigate to the “Submit Your VR App” page and fill out the required information about your game, including its title, description, screenshots, and trailers. Ensure that all submitted materials meet the platform’s guidelines and are of high quality.

How Does UploadVR Choose Contributors?
We seek to curate Showcases that harmoniously marry unconventional yet captivating small-scale projects from emerging artists with complex undertakings from renowned collectives, fostering an intriguing blend of perspectives and creativity. While not every task perfectly aligns with the chosen Showcase, it’s essential to expand our online presence to provide our audience with a diverse range of engaging and captivating content in VR, leaving the door open for potential future submissions.

Will I Receive Notification About the Status of My Software Submission?
UploadVR will evaluate applications as they arrive, making contact with candidates to provide a swift yes, no, or conditionally positive response. We aim to complete the showcase promptly, necessitating an expedited timeline for submitting final submissions.
If the timing proves ill-suited, we may have scope for readjustment at a later event or, if necessary, consider alternative arrangements to ensure our mutual interests remain safeguarded. When Are Picks Made?
If your mission is selected for the showcase, you will be promptly contacted once our evaluation process is complete. We appreciate your interest in our program and kindly request that you refrain from contacting us regarding your application status until at least seven calendar days have passed since submitting your application.
