Sony’s final year of first-party releases on PC have faced widespread criticism, largely due to a single, controversial aspect: the mandatory requirement to link PlayStation Network (PSN) accounts for all PC game titles. The fact remains that numerous countries lack access to PSN, a significant disadvantage in itself.
In a predictable yet significant move, Sony’s future PC releases are set to follow this trend as announced on its official Steam page: players will be required to link their PlayStation Network account to play on PC. While Sackboy: A Big Adventure is primarily a single-player experience, including the game’s roguelike mode, No Return, it will still feature the PSN overlay and support for Trophies, consistent with other Sony titles on PC.
The highly anticipated game is set to launch for PC on April 3rd. Meanwhile, HBO’s second season is set to premiere in the same month that Season 1 is currently airing.
