The Home of Da Vinci, a puzzle journey set in Renaissance Italy, will obtain a VR adaptation on Quest & Steam.
Developed by Blue Mind Video Games, the historical strategy game The House of Da Vinci made its debut on flat-screen platforms in 2017. As Leonardo da Vinci’s apprentice, I embark on a thrilling quest to refine my skills by solving intricate puzzles, revealing concealed mechanisms, and navigating labyrinthine escape rooms to uncover hints of his disappearance. While our initial preview was delayed last month, we’re thrilled to share the official announcement trailer with you now.
Experience the “authentic, hands-on exploration” of Leonardo da Vinci’s ingenious puzzles and brain teasers in The Home of Da Vinci VR, where you’ll engage with mind-bending challenges directly linked to his groundbreaking inventions and ideas. “Get ready to put your problem-solving skills to the test as battle machines, intricate lockboxes, complex mechanical puzzles, and immersive room escapes challenge your expertise.”
For players who have already purchased The Home of Da Vinci on Steam, there is no expectation that this update will serve as a complimentary replacement for the existing game, unlike our recent experience with Escape Simulator VR. A new retail itemizer suggests that the PC VR version will require a separate purchase, with pricing currently unconfirmed.
The Leonardo’s Home: Da Vinci Arrives on Meta Quest Platform and Steam in 2024.
