Although Bandai Namco didn’t reveal the next installment in the series, they did confirm the development of a remastered version. Launching on January 17th, 2025, the game will be available across multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Check out the stunning revamped visuals in the newly released primary trailer!
Built upon the 2012 PlayStation 3 release, a reimagined version of the 2009 Nintendo Wii role-playing game, this updated iteration incorporates quality-of-life enhancements, downloadable content from the original title, as well as additional features akin to those found in Lineage and Legacies: After Story. The game offers a range of options for players to customize their experience, including icons for tracking locations, the ability to toggle off enemy encounters, auto-save functionality, and the option to skip cutscenes altogether.
For the first time ever, certain scenes have been localized into English, including the narrative itself. Stay tuned for further updates and an in-depth look at the gameplay, leading up to its highly anticipated launch. Hopefully, it won’t be capped at 30 frames per second.
