Veteran VR developer Quick Journey Games has announced that its highly-regarded VR shooter is set to launch on Quest later next month, bringing immersive gaming experiences to a wider audience.
The action is set ablaze as the identical time-stopping motion mechanic from earlier returns, allowing you to strategically orchestrate a symphony of gunplay, reminiscent of John Wick’s signature style, where time freezes and the only sound is the strike of your gunfire while you tactically plan out elaborate gun kata.
Starting December 12th on Quest 2 headsets and above, gamers can immerse themselves in five distinct cinematic experiences, each placing them at the center of a unique narrative that spans various genres.
Each movie is comprised of four distinct acts, each consisting of five individual scenes. As players advance through the game’s scenic landscape, they overcome challenges by triumphing over foes and sidestepping hazards in a thrilling slow-motion sequence, with time accelerating as they gain momentum from swift movements. With lightning-quick reflexes and meticulous planning, you’ll successfully navigate challenges and find yourself back at the starting point of the designated act, according to the studio’s guidelines.
Quick Journey Games has unveiled a diverse range of genres thus far, including a heist film, an action-packed adventure inspired by Indiana Jones, a cyberpunk-themed excursion with cyborg protagonists, and a stealthy ninja movie – the latter showcased in its latest trailer, available to view above.
Ready to take its fast-paced action to new heights, is poised to introduce boss encounters and an array of unique weapons, one per film. This expansion promises five additional “Director’s Cuts,” offering a fresh, challenging experience by allowing players to jump into modified versions of each level for “new, more difficult and wacky situations.”
The popular VR game is coming exclusively to Oculus Quest 2 and above on December 12th, priced at $20. You can also wishlist the game on the Horizon Store here?
