Ready to ship its primary correct open-world expertise next month, the game will bring a multitude of planets and moons to life, including familiar locations like Tattooine’s deserts and Canto Bight’s dense civilization. Notably, at least one location will be entirely new to fans of the IP, offering an unparalleled level of immersion within the Star Wars universe. The Toshara moon was designed and developed entirely from scratch by Large Leisure, specifically for the purpose of sports.
IGN has unveiled a fresh video offering unique insights from the game’s development team, shedding light on the creative process behind the title while also delving deeper into the narrative, geography, and other key aspects of the game’s world.
On the windswept planet of Toshara, inspired by the majesty of the African savanna, players will uncover a wealth of unique attributes that will draw them in, along with deposits of the luminous, orange substance known as Amberine – a crucial element in the moon’s rich lore. While exploring the moon’s surface, gamers can stumble upon several organic ramps crafted from Amberine, which they’ll utilize for thrilling stunts and jumps while navigating their speeders.
Beyond the amber-hued horizon, hidden treasures await discovery – ancient shipwrecks yielding secrets of a bygone era, abandoned Empire outposts waiting to be unearthed, and prison factions clamoring for attention, their components crying out to be harnessed. Beneath the lunar expanse’s sweeping curves, a hidden gem emerges: Mirogana, a densely populated city ensconced within an unfathomable mountain, carefully carved into its rugged walls to shield itself from the moon’s formidable gusts and relentless bombardment of solar radiation.
