Large Leisure’s launch takes place on August 30th, with early access available to Gold and Founder edition owners. Recently, patch 1.000.002 was deployed, bringing with it a series of updates that aim to rectify several issues. However, in doing so, it has inadvertently introduced new roadblocks for developers.
A glitchy issue prevents PS5 players from progressing beyond a specific point, leaving them stuck. Ubisoft faced backlash when they issued an email regarding the same issue, apologizing for the inconvenience and advising players to start a fresh game after updating their title. Continuing with an earlier save can result in accumulation of “points and development roadblocks.”
It appears that a fix for players with older save files is unlikely to be developed. The fact that Gold and Final Version homeowners must pay extra for early access sparks genuine frustration among some gamers. On the performance-intensive side, the patch offers a welcome compromise between efficiency and high-quality rendering, delivering a smooth 40 frames per second.
