Nintendo has announced that its console will no longer receive major software updates. The third-person shooter debuted on the Nintendo Switch in September 2022, with subsequent updates introducing fresh assets, weaponry, and terrain to enhance gameplay. Additionally, there has been a consistent supply of Splatfests with diverse and unique themes.
Despite this, assistance will still be forthcoming. Special events such as Splatoween, Spring Fest, Frosty Fest, and Summer Nights will continue to rotate on our calendar. Massive Runs, Eggstra Work, and Month-to-Month Challenges persist, with any weapon updates released on an as-needed basis.

The developer released a paid expansion in February, introducing a brand-new rogue-lite mode and tower for players to conquer through. Stay tuned for further details and updates on the franchise’s trajectory.
