Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater will roll into early access in 2025, according to Full Circle’s announcement regarding the reboot of Digital Arts’ iconic skateboarding franchise. The developer has hinted at forthcoming details, but for now, they’ve shared a tantalizing sneak peek featuring skaters executing tricks, taking tumbles, and seamlessly incorporating props into their stunts.
Unlike its predecessors, this reboot is a free-to-play experience. The customization options offer a diverse selection of cosmetics, including deck artwork, wheel colors, outfits, and more. Certain cosmetic items become accessible upon participating in sports, while others must be acquired through purchases made at the in-game shop. Developing a transparent gaming experience, Full Circle asserts that their entire library of content is accessible to players without any hidden pay-to-win mechanics or restrictive paywalls, ensuring a level playing field for all.
The developer has confirmed that it will conduct console playtests in this fall, prior to introducing a launch window for early entry. Stay informed about upcoming developments in the next few weeks.
