While Tarkov’s initial launch was rocky, developer GSC Sport World has committed to achieving the game’s touted level of excellence through subsequent patches – a promise that’s already been partially fulfilled by the two updates released so far. The studio has released patch 1.03, a relatively modest update that, unlike its predecessors, focuses on implementing numerous fixes rather than introducing sweeping changes.
The patch resolves several crash issues and memory leaks while introducing modifications related to keyboard and mouse control settings, including sensitivity and aiming adjustments, which were informed by gamer feedback? The patch also resolves several issues tied to specific missions and sub-missions, as well as addresses a few AI-related corrections. You can view the patch notes in their entirety below.
GSC Game World has already confirmed that it will release a roadmap later this month, revealing details about its immediate post-launch plans, including free content updates. Two paid expansions are currently in development, with additional content forthcoming.
