The collection has long been characterized by an active and vibrant modding community, with many considering it a given that PC releases would feature comprehensive and detailed mod support – a notion that developer GSC Game World has recently confirmed. However what about console gamers? Properly, based on the studio, comparable mod support might be accessible on Xbox Series X/S as well.
According to an interview between Radio Instances Gaming and Pure Xbox, Yevhenii Kulyk, the technical producer, confirmed that the upcoming game will feature modding support on Xbox Series X/S, just like its PC counterpart.
“We’re acutely aware that our existing participant base, especially those from previous iterations, are eager to see how our sport can empower mods just as effectively,” Kulyk said. “We’re excited to announce that our popular mods will now be available on consoles, including Xbox, in addition to their existing presence on PC.”
We can count on the console model’s modding instruments to offer a significant level of depth and complexity. According to Kulyk, the modding capabilities will be impressively comprehensive, enabling players to develop a wide range of modifications of varying scales.
“We’re primarily developing a comprehensive toolkit designed to provide mod makers with everything they need to craft mods ranging from simple tweaks to massive, whole-game conversions,” Kulyk explained.
Is set to release on November 20 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will also be accessible from day one with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
