After a 15-year wait, the highly anticipated game has finally launched, and initial reviews – including our own – confirm that it boasts more than its share of crucial technical improvements. While developer GSC Game World takes a proactive approach to keeping its fan base enthusiastic about the game.
The developer recently announced on Twitter that it is commemorating the release of the open-world horror shooter by outlining forthcoming bug fixes and updates. GSC Game World plans to roll out rapid hotfixes shortly after launch to address critical issues promptly, before shifting focus to more comprehensive updates featuring significant improvements. Meanwhile, a detailed roadmap will be published in December, outlining developers’ post-launch plans, including complimentary content updates.
“Evidently, an enormous sport,” GSC Recreation World’s message declares. “We recognize the importance of maintaining a level of toughness and complexity in such an undertaking, as it represents a significant departure from our previous endeavors.” As a diligent team, we’re fully committed to staying on top of your feedback, promptly addressing any issues that require our attention.
As we begin operating in the post-launch environment, our initial focus will be on implementing hotfixes, with a goal of rapid deployment while maintaining a consistent cadence. Subsequently, we will transition to more substantial upgrades that incorporate static improvements. “Additionally, we’re planning to release a range of free in-game content, and we’ll unveil our roadmap for this later in December.”
