As part of a groundbreaking collaboration with legendary game developer Bungie, the latest update to Rec Room brings an explosive new fusion: Future-themed cosmetics and challenges. With the introduction of a revamped atmosphere reminiscent of The Tower’s iconic social hub, today’s update focuses primarily on a new in-game event called Guardians’ Gauntlet, a space-faring shooter’s signature offering. Within this expertise, gamers can hone their skills by taking on the role of Guardians and teaming up with friends to conquer thrilling Future-themed quests.
To heighten the sense of immersion, gamers can don a hooded cloak and adorn their avatars with themed weapons and skins for a cosplay-like experience as the Future 2 Hunter class. Meanwhile, fellow Warlock enthusiasts should take note that cosmetic items inspired by the remaining Warlock and Titan classes are also on the horizon in Rec Room, coming soon.
