We’ve been tracking this highly anticipated cooperative survival game for a short time now; it’s an upcoming title that lets players explore floating islands, redesign them as airborne abodes, and enjoy a playstyle that promises to be as safe or intense as you desire – all while drawing inspiration from the whimsical world of Studio Ghibli. The Funcom-published game had initially aimed for an autumn release but required a rescheduling into January 2025; the exact release day has since been pinpointed as Wednesday, January 15th.
Discover serenity in building and crafting, a sense of accomplishment in restoring island ecosystems to their former glory, and the thrill of navigating tranquil and turbulent skies, all while unraveling the enigmatic past that has shaped the world as we know it today. As you embark on your odyssey, amass a collection of seeds to cultivate, develop relationships with the creatures that inhabit your world, and acquire timeless knowledge to propel yourself forward.
Allies up to eight strong can coalesce to explore, fabricate, and construct bespoke aerial vessels, customizing their designs by adding components such as billowing sails, an imposing helm, and precision-steering rudders to favored drifting isles. The Early Entry Construct ensures a diverse array of unique adversaries, three distinct biomes, an abundance of building and decorative items, and a wide variety of flora and fauna to tend to. Early entry into the market is expected to take around 12-18 months.
The announcement arrived alongside a fresh trailer, and a demo of the game was downloadable on Steam.
