With the console launch finally arriving, developer Kinetic Games reveals details on the co-op horror title’s technical specifications for all consoles ahead of its release.
On every PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, users have access to two distinct performance modes, tailored to optimize gameplay for either 4K resolution at 60 frames per second or a lower native resolution in Efficiency Mode. While Xbox Series X offers a unique feature set, one notable advantage is its support for up to 120 frames per second, a capability not currently available on PlayStation 5.
On the Xbox Series S, games will render at a resolution of 1080p and a frame rate of 60 frames per second, with no alternative graphical settings available to adjust performance or visual fidelity. On PlayStation VR2, the game will deliver crisp visuals at a local resolution of 4K per eye (2000×2400), with a smooth 60Hz refresh rate and seamless 120Hz reprojection technology.
Currently available on PC, with a console launch scheduled for October 29. Since its early-entry launch in 2020, the sport has sold more than 20 million units, a remarkable achievement for Kinetic Games, which recently entered the market.
