The video featuring Jonathan Rogers, game director at Grinding Gear Games, was originally shared on Twitter and provided insight into the decision-making process behind the information’s arrival. While you may observe the issue firsthand, it appears that the cause of the delay is linked to ongoing back-end server infrastructure work, primarily focused on transferring microtransactions from PoE 1 to PoE 2.
The sport was reintroduced in 2019 and has since undergone extensive development over the past few years, with the original game receiving ongoing updates. In a move announced just earlier this year, Grinding Gear Games revealed that its console version would finally receive attention, including the long-awaited addition of sofa co-op and other quality-of-life enhancements.
It’s crucial to highlight that this delayed launch – now rescheduled for December – merely marks the Early Access phase of the game, setting a foundation for further development and refinement.
