Following the initial major free content update, Ironwood Studios announced that they have sold over 600,000 copies.
On February 22nd, the highly anticipated survival crafting/roguelite driving game debuted on both PS5 and PC, earning widespread critical acclaim with a Metacritic score of 79 at launch.
“We’re thrilled by the overwhelming response to our latest initiative,” said Ironwood’s CEO and artistic director, Alex Dracott, at a press conference. “We didn’t initially anticipate reaching this milestone when we started working on the project.” It’s a dream come true.
“It’s a testament to the tireless efforts of everyone at Ironwood Studios.” We sincerely thank our team for sharing our vision and joining us on this incredible adventure. Without their assistance, none of these accomplishments would have been achievable, and we’re deeply thankful for the opportunity to continue empowering them in their professional growth.
The latest update introduces fresh features to existing storage devices, accompanied by a novel skill – the Junk Jet – designed specifically for strafing maneuvers. The zone also features various adaptations of ARDA trailers, obstacles, and more. The long-awaited Photograph Mode is now available, accompanied by a fresh paid beauty pack inspired by the charming Pleasant Dumpster theme.
Ironwood Studios anticipates additional updates throughout both Fall and Winter seasons. The previous update offers fresh problem scenarios, personalized setting options, and complimentary cosmetic items that seamlessly integrate with a supplementary premium beauty package. The information will soon feature additional details, as the redaction has been lifted, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding to emerge in the near future.
Available for both PS5 and PC. The assessment we gave a score of eight out of ten in our evaluation.
