At Meta’s Join 2024 event, Axiom co-founder Kerestell Smith explained that their concept seeks to erase boundaries between spectators and athletes in large-scale settings. Orion Drift aims to craft a unique community hub where people can gather and freely explore with like-minded individuals.
“‘The DNA from Gorilla Tag, which is being infused into our future games, isn’t a specific set of interactions or a particular game mode we’re trying to replicate,’ Smith explained at the time.” Being part of a diverse group requires exceptional skills. “The connections you’ll form and the communities you might join.”
