Microsoft kicks off the new year by shedding light on a massive Xbox Game Pass Ultimate feature that has taken a backseat recently. Sport Go Quests provides an accessible way to earn rewards by exploring Sport Go games.
These factors enable users to acquire video games and downloadable content (DLC), participate in sweepstakes, and gain access to a variety of exclusive rewards. Until this point, however, RuneScape Quests have remained exclusive to Xbox platforms, never making a debut on PCs. That is lastly altering.
Microsoft has recently unveiled a series of updates to Sport Go Quests, along with the corresponding factors that impact them. As of today, Sport Go Quests, previously available exclusively to Final members on consoles, will now be accessible on PC through Sport Go.
For years, Sport Go Quests has enjoyed the loyalty of its dedicated fan base, thanks to its ability to provide users with a compelling reason to try out newly released titles and explore genres they may not have encountered otherwise. Extra quests are successfully completed, yielding tangible rewards that hold monetary value in the real world. The function is available in select regions, but there’s good news to share as well.
Starting from tomorrow, January 7, PC Sports Pass subscribers will gain access to Entry Quests. Additionally, this implies that Final (comprising both console and PC) members may have another platform where they can earn rewards on. Quests launches simultaneously in both regions on the same day.
Despite these qualifications, there are several important considerations that must be taken into account. Initially, Incomes Rewards factors will henceforth be limited to gamers aged 18 and above. As a result, individuals with managed accounts, including kids, will no longer have access to the Rewards Hub. However, they can continue earning points through “parentally approved purchases of eligible items on the Microsoft Store, eligible searches on Microsoft Bing, and other non-gameplay activities.” Existing point balances remain intact, offering some reassurance.
While PC Game Pass poses no significant barriers to entry, the primary obstacle remains that only games not requiring a third-party launcher will initially tie into your progression or feature Quests. All features, including those from Blizzard’s Battle.net, are encompassed, unaffected by any corporate affiliation.
Microsoft has implemented a change to Quests, requiring a minimum playtime before users can earn points. This update ensures that gamers must actually engage with the games they download, rather than simply installing them and earning rewards without meaningful interaction.
This initiative represents a significant overhaul of the existing framework, incorporating new Quests and a dynamic reward structure featuring daily, weekly, and monthly incentives. While additional revenue streams exist, the quest-based approach demands slightly more exertion.
If you’ve never dabbled in Quests before, getting started is surprisingly straightforward. Discover rewards within the Xbox Rewards Hub on your console, or access them through the Xbox app on PC or mobile devices. As your progress grows, so do the rewards that follow? Once you’ve accumulated a sufficient amount, head back to the Rewards Hub to redeem your points for Xbox gift cards and other exclusive rewards.
