It appears that an Inno3D graphics card consultant may have inadvertently revealed a surprise is imminent, suggesting that we won’t have long to wait.
As CES 2025 approaches, speculation surrounding the upcoming Nvidia graphics card release is intensifying, with many anticipating a flagship model to debut in January. During a Brazilian livestream interview, an Inno3D representative inadvertently spilled the beans by revealing the anticipated launch date for the highly anticipated RTX 5090.
The stream, hosted by Brazilian PC content creator Pichau, had reached its ninth hour and showed no signs of slowing down. Inno3D’s consultant momentarily seized the opportunity to address a pressing query from the audience, fielding a question about when the highly anticipated RTX 5090 would become available.
Upon further development, this feature will be available in approximately three weeks. The overwhelming reaction from both viewers and hosts compelled her to make a swift correction. At CES 2025, she directed attendees to seek additional information. While noting that the 5090’s formal introduction would take place at the event in January, stating, “The 5090 will exclusively debut at CES 2025 in January.”
If the RTX 5090 launches in just three weeks, that would position it uncomfortably across the holiday season, potentially serving as a substitute for CES. This year, the conference is taking place from January 7 to 11, with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang set to deliver a keynote address during the event.
The consultant may have been referring to the pre-launch strategies Inno3D is likely to employ. Nvidia is poised to unveil its first client-grade Blackwell-powered graphics processing units (GPUs), with the highly anticipated RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 models expected to debut at Consumer Electronics Show (CES). While the flagship 5090 boasts an impressive price tag nearing $2,000, this staggering cost may preclude gamers with limited budgets from considering this high-end option.
The rumoured decrease-tier card, the RTX 5070, may reportedly be accompanied by an RTX 5070 Ti variant at launch, similarly to the 40-series offerings. Notwithstanding, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti was effectively a rebadged RTX 4080 12GB model, suggesting that its specifications and performance were identical to those of the higher-end GPU.
While rumors swirl around potential graphics card unveilings at CES 2025, whispers are also circulating about AMD’s anticipated launch of the powerful Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor.
