Microsoft recently confirmed its development of a portable Xbox, while reports suggest Sony is also exploring a handheld device capable of native PS5 game operation. The findings are being independently validated in another study.
Claims regarding a potential PlayStation handheld were first reported by Bloomberg and recently echoed in a Digital Foundry video, where senior employee John Linneman revealed he had received similar information about the device earlier in the year as well.
