As HoYoVerse gears up for the impending release of Model 3.0, the company has unveiled two innovative Relic customization tools that will soon be available within the update: the enigmatic Wishful Resin and the versatile Variable Cube. Players will gain new ways to fine-tune or recast the attributes of their Relics. New model content arrives on January 15, 2025, accompanied by these fresh updates.
Recently, the latest details emerged during the New Year’s Day stream, but subsequent elaboration was provided through a recent post on HoYoLab. Wishful Resin, a key component, allows gamers to further personalise Relics through the synthesis system within. When combining Self-Modeling Resin and Wishful Resin, the synthesis process guarantees a character’s primary stat, along with up to two secondary stats, facilitating more efficient stat acquisition for players through reduced farming efforts.
Similarly, the Variable Cube allows you to re-roll specific stats on an upgraded item to acquire level-up enhancements at a predetermined point. The primary objective of this product line is to provide a means for us to meticulously restore our nearly flawless Relics to their optimal condition. It’s one other quality-of-life adjustment.
HoYoVerse announced during its New Year’s Day livestream that version 3.0, dubbed Paean of Period Nova, will officially debut on January 15, 2025. The corporation further elaborated on the diverse forthcoming gacha banners slated for the update, as well as which characters will feature prominently on each of these promotional displays. Two newly introduced characters will appear, featuring one as a highly advanced, five-star model of the esteemed Herta.
Available to download immediately for PC, PS5, and mobile devices, while versions 3.0 and the new Relic tools will be available starting January 15, 2025.
