Capcom recently revealed the release date for Resident Evil Village during Sony’s State of Play presentation, accompanied by an in-depth look at the game’s gameplay through a hands-on demo at Tokyo Game Show. Watch a thrilling get-together stream now, featuring the captivating Scarlet Forest and intense combat, rendered seamlessly in 60 frames per second exclusively on PlayStation 5.
At Gamescom, attendees who got hands-on experience with the demo discovered that it was running smoothly at 30 frames per second on PlayStation 5. While the current body fee may not be consistently stable, it marks an improvement and highlights the availability of two graphical modes on consoles. CAPCOM remains tight-lipped about providing additional details.
As the demo remains a work in progress, its specifics will likely be revealed closer to launch. To achieve 1080p/60 FPS at medium settings with ray tracing enabled, one requires a powerful graphics card such as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super, AMD Radeon RX 4060, or a Radeon RX 6700 XT. Stay tuned for additional updates throughout the next few months.
Releases on February 28th, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
