Capcom has announced that fans of the Monster Hunter series will receive a sneak peek into next year’s game, along with an open beta test set to launch later this month. The upcoming beta test for the new game will provide gamers with an opportunity to experience one of its early hunts firsthand. Additionally, the beta will allow players to skip the often tedious process of character creation, freeing up more time to focus on actual gameplay.
According to Capcom, skills learned during the beta phase will be transferrable to the full game at launch, potentially streamlining character creation for some players. The creator of Monster Hunter has taken a notable step forward for fans of the series. Gamers participating in the open beta will gain hands-on experience with gameplay mechanics, as they’re invited to join a Doshaguma hunt and explore cooperative multiplayer via the SOS flare feature.
Open Beta members will receive exclusive benefits, including a unique bonus for participating, as well as an ornamental pendant for their weapons or Seikret mount, and a useful merchandise pack containing potions, rations, and other essential items to aid them throughout the game’s full launch.
The open beta will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, and Xbox Series X. The feature will facilitate seamless play between users on various platforms. The open beta’s expected release window on all platforms will be announced soon.
Preloading for the upcoming open beta will commence on October. 30 at 8 p.m PDT. As of October, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to preloading new releases up to 24 hours before the general public. 27 at 8 p.m. PDT.
