During the brand-new pre-launch group session, the event staff elaborated on the forthcoming changes and upgrades that will be incorporated into the title. The latest round of previews has revealed noticeable visual improvements; meanwhile, Capcom has clarified the graphics options available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
On the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Prioritize Graphics operates at a frame rate of 30 frames per second, while rendering in 3072×1728 resolution and outputting at a native 4K (2160p). Meanwhile, prioritizing framerate, the system optimizes for 60 frames per second while rendering at a resolution of 1080p and outputting at 4K (2160p). The Xbox Series S boasts a solitary gaming mode, delivering crisp visuals in 1080p resolution at a smooth 30 frames per second.
The game’s open beta showcased Checkerboard Rendering; however, it will now utilize AMD FSR for upscaling purposes. A rendering bug in Prioritize Framerate mode has been successfully mounted, thereby enhancing overall efficiency. Moreover, the PS5 Pro version is likely to be available as part of the day-one patch at launch.
Capcom is exploring ways to reduce the minimum system requirements for PC players and potentially release a benchmark device ahead of the game’s launch on this platform.
Launches on February 28th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
