With Atlus’ latest venture, a revival of classic elements infusing new life, the studio successfully balances nostalgic familiarity with innovative twists, earning praise from a significant portion of critics. Between its captivating fantasy realm and charming character nuances, there’s much to appreciate. The post-fight victory abstract display, however, is what I prefer in a single format.
Does turn-based combat allow you to assemble a team of warriors with distinct positions and areas of expertise? While combat allows for quick defeats of weaker foes in real-time dungeon battles, a significant portion of gameplay still consists of strategic, turn-based encounters. Each triumphant victory over hordes of monsters is celebrated with a dazzling flash of the display, announcing your conquest in style. As you walk towards the vibrant purple and white backdrop, you’re met with a sense of accomplishment, as well as a display of the expertise and wealth you’ve accumulated from the battle.
It seems to take on a form that’s quite easy, though in reality, I struggle to make up for just how well it presents itself. Among the most intense and thrilling aspects of the sport are the battles or sections that really pack a punch. You crave every shred of inspiration available, and each time I gaze upon the digital canvas, I’m imbued with an unwavering determination to safeguard our planet, one valiant struggle at a time?
