Konami has officially announced plans to develop a new collection of ports. In a recently published “Manufacturing Hotline” video, Noriaki Okamura, the sequence producer, revealed that the project is indeed in development, but declined to provide further details during the conversation.
Okamura clarified in a Manufacturing Hotline video earlier this year that Konami had not yet decided on the games to include in the collection, and elaborated further on the reasoning behind this decision, noting that unlike the games included in the first set, other titles don’t have existing HD ports that could be utilized for a new compilation, whereas those already in HD are quite large-scale, posing their own challenges.
According to Okamura, the company had high-definition ports available for both Or and something else, although it’s unlikely they would be compatible with the first option. “While many titles released since then lack a pre-existing high-definition port that could be leveraged.” While some films are available in high definition (HD), massive title movies come with their unique set of advantages and disadvantages.
As companies strive to optimize their product lineups, several factors come into play. The complexity of this endeavor is multifaceted, encompassing myriad considerations such as what’s included and how long the development process may take. We anticipate the release of our latest project in due course. As soon as the transparent image is finalized, we’ll post an update on this page.
Okamura explicitly confirmed that Konami had already begun addressing concerns before acknowledging the issues surrounding the launch of, and provided reassurances that the company would learn from its mistakes to avoid similar errors in future releases.
In reality, our main reference was known as Volume One. We’re launching the inaugural volume of our publication? “That’s for certain,” Okamura stated. “We are also concerned about how Volume…” After a challenging initial launch plagued by issues, we’re committed to avoiding a repeat performance. To achieve this, we respectfully request everyone’s cooperation in providing us with sufficient time.

In earlier reviews, it was speculated that the upcoming year’s lineup would feature both God of War and Ratchet & Clank, a notion backed by previous datamining leaks.
As Konami continues to push forward, they’re reportedly making progress on the highly anticipated remake, having recently unveiled its opening sequence and confirming that the game is now fully playable from start to finish. While a launch date has yet to be announced, the possibility remains that the game may be playable during Tokyo Game Show (TGS) later this September.
