While we’ve long known that the game utilizes voice acting for its characters, recent developments suggest that the upcoming release will not only retain existing recordings but also introduce new ones featuring veteran actors reprising their iconic roles.
According to actor Jim Piddock, who provided the voice of Major Zero in the original game, he recently revealed on Twitter that he has lent his talents to “some” new recordings for the upcoming remake.
Surprisingly, Piddock is not the only actor slated to reprise their role in the upcoming remake, with fresh recordings already underway. He confirmed on Twitter that Lori Alan, the original voice of The Boss, is reprising her role.
David Hayter, renowned for his iconic roles as Solidus Snake and Liquid Ocelot, hinted at reviving his character as the latter for an undisclosed project this month. It’s undeniable that this was what we were referring to?
The precise details of the brand new recordings for the remake remain unclear. Prior to release, Konami hinted that the game would feature re-recorded tracks, leaving uncertainty regarding the inclusion of entirely new soundtracks.
The game is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC?
