NetEase has officially announced that Psylocke is joining the initial lineup in one of its numerous understated updates for the character. According to Miller Ross’s tweet, the official Discord server offered a sneak peek at the character during a trivia event.
Rooted in her appearance and the context of the trivia’s contents, she is likely inspired by Sai, a character from Peach Momoko’s. In an alternate reality, a mystical world blends the feudal traditions of 17th-century Japan with the mythical creatures known as Yokai, as protagonist Sai ventures forth to embark on thrilling escapades and forge unbreakable bonds with enigmatic figures such as Logan and the enigmatic Hulkmaru.
As her abilities remain unexplored, the preview hints at her capacity for teleportation and a dramatic aerial assault that culminates in a swift downward slash. Throughout this year’s Tokyo Sports Present, scheduled to take place from September 26th to 29th, it is anticipated that an even more elaborate and in-depth trailer will be showcased, providing viewers with a thrilling preview of the exciting events to come.
