Marvel has unveiled its latest slate of TV series, accompanied by a string of tantalizing teasers revealing what’s in store.
While 2024 might have seen a relatively quiet year for Marvel, 2025 is poised to be anything but tranquil, even considering only the three films currently scheduled for release. The Comedian Book Studio has unveiled a sneak peek at its upcoming exhibit slate, with standout titles like Daredevil: Born Again, a highly anticipated revival that has fans eagerly counting down the days until its 2024 release. Although the teaser wouldn’t reveal much, it still offers a glimpse into the action with brief battle scenes and a poignant dialogue between Matt Murdock and the Kingpin; additionally, fans get a fleeting look at Jon Bernthal reprise his role as The Punisher, along with a reminder of the March 4 release date.
The teaser reel ultimately confirmed footage from the animated “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” clearly not an origin story for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The eagerly anticipated sequence is now slated for a January 25 release, a two-month delay from its original November launch window.
We also received an exclusive look at Ironheart, serving as a great reminder that Iron Man’s suit looked significantly better when it incorporated a mechanical aesthetic – this one drops on June 24.
The third and final season of What If? springs forth once more. Despite having a brief teaser lasting only five seconds, we shouldn’t assume that there will be a significant buildup beforehand; instead, the full content is expected to drop on December 22nd. As part of its animated offerings, fans will also have the opportunity to encounter Marvel Zombies on October 25, a date fittingly coinciding with the Halloween season. As yet, Marvel’s Shang-Chi sequel, titled Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is set to arrive on December 23, featuring Simu Liu once more as the titular hero alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Marvel Man and Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery. They typically slip in and out of glimpses reminiscent of another animated series, Eyes of Wakanda, set for release on August 6?
To fully appreciate the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2025, a devoted fan will need to accomplish a significant amount of background work. Good luck, I assume!
