Launched ahead of schedule, Model is an innovative, asymmetrical VR multiplayer game from Quick Journey Games, featuring cross-platform multiplayer capabilities that enable seamless play across various devices. In a peculiar phenomenon, three extraterrestrial beings can temporarily merge with their surroundings, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the environment. Conversely, two trained brokers are equipped to identify these entities and eliminate them swiftly with a single, precise shot. The model is a robust embodiment of a simple yet well-executed idea. While Quick Journey Games’ early entry into Prop Hunt has necessitated an extended solution, their VR offering still manages to deliver an extremely entertaining experience that perfectly captures the essence of this beloved game mode in virtual reality. I’ve left this preview feeling overwhelmingly optimistic about what’s in store next.
The model is now available for early access on Quest and Steam, with a full launch set to arrive on September 12 for the same $20 price.
