Earlier this year, Capcom started charging $70 for its video games; however, the company still plans to release several prominent upcoming titles at lower prices, including Resident Evil 4 and Street Fighter 6, which are both set to retail for $50. During an interview with Automaton Media, producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi discussed the value of the sport, noting that despite its lower cost, it will not compromise on content.
According to Hirabayashi, the game’s core narrative will span at least 20 hours, with supplementary missions and challenges available outside the main storyline, enabling players to extend their playtime further.
“It will likely require at least 20 hours just to get through the storyline,” he noted. There may well be post-story missions and challenges to tackle, ensuring that the overall game length rivals that of a fully-priced title.
