Keanu Reeves’s role as the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has been confirmed, with rumors suggesting he may also appear in the upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations DLC.
As of December 12, the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Film Pack is expected to become available for Sonic & Shadow Generations, featuring in-game content inspired by the movie’s events, just ahead of its release on December 20. While attempting to bring Sonic the Hedgehog to life with the iconic Keanu Reeves’s narration wasn’t entirely feasible in this context.
Those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Version of the game will gain immediate access to the Sonic the Hedgehog Film Pack upon its December release, a feature that also grants early access to the game on October 22, three days prior to its official launch on October 25.
Sonic X Shadow Generations is expected to launch simultaneously on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
