What’s next for Kaiju No.? The eagerly awaited sequel arrives with… The highly anticipated eighth generation of this iconic model has officially been unveiled, with a scheduled release date in 2025. The announcement was made via the official Kaiju notification system. Eight Twitter accounts feature a promotional video (PV) showcasing primary season highlights and announcing forthcoming continuation of the series.

The press release also disclosed that a fresh original episode is currently in production alongside the second season. As this episode unfolds, a glimpse into the daily life of Vice-Captain Soshiro Hoshina is revealed. A compilation of the primary season is being produced, allowing newcomers to revisit pivotal moments from earlier episodes before embarking on the new season.
The anime series “Kaiju No. 8” is primarily adapted from Naoya Matsumoto’s manga, which was serialized in Shonen Leap, not “Shonen Leap”. The story revolves around Kafka, an individual with the unique ability to transform into a kaiju. The anime’s first season began airing in April 2024 and wrapped up on July 13th, 2024.
Akatsuki Video games and Toho launched a free-to-play mobile and PC game, Kaiju No. 8: The Game, based on the popular anime and manga series. The discharge date still needs to be established. The kaiju-themed anime series The Devil’s Line 8 is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, while the accompanying manga has been licensed for international distribution outside of Japan by Viz Media.
