In a recent interview with Edge journal, via GamesRadar, creative director Axel Torvenius discussed the same topic, stating that the forthcoming action-adventure title does not “promote” gunplay, instead emphasizing the importance of employing “your intellect and your whip.”

“To remain faithful to his persona, it would be unrealistic to depict our protagonist constantly snapping photos of every enemy camp, and the team at MachineGames aims to amplify the perilous atmosphere.” Isn’t it crucial to gauge the value of engaging in combat, as being exposed to gunfire is undeniably perilous? According to Sport Director Jerk Gustafsson, despite the abundance of weaponry in the game, the loud and harmful nature of these weapons will encourage players to explore alternative strategies, such as employing them as makeshift melee instruments.
