As of late January, the open-world motion RPG’s sales had reached an impressive 24 million units, with an additional 6 million units sold since then, underscoring remarkable momentum in sales nearly a year and a half after its initial release.
Developers at Avalanche Software are working on a sequel to their game, which has been officially confirmed, and the new installment will feature narrative connections to HBO’s forthcoming series.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest that a new installment is in development and set to release in 2025, featuring an estimated 10-15 hours of fresh gameplay.
