A brand-new replacement for Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded has finally arrived, boasting promised stability and visually enhanced features.
After a rocky launch for Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded on Quest 3 in the final month, XR Games acknowledged that their game “had not met our own high expectations.” The studio has since rolled out the Model 1.2 update. The promised modifications encompass a range of significant updates, including enhanced stability features, visually striking improvements such as increased level of detail (LOD) limits and refined lighting effects, along with multiple bug fixes. Discover the comprehensive patch notes in their entirety below.
The “Reloaded” update marks the second major overhaul for Hitman 3’s VR mode, following last month’s “Day 4” patch. During our previous hands-on experience, we found that the initial patch brought about several positive updates, including enhanced textures, elevated gunplay and refined lighting effects across Dubai. Despite this, we also discovered fresh opportunities to boost efficiency during the “The Farewell” mission nonetheless.
As part of its ongoing efforts to restructure and adapt to the evolving market, XR Games is currently undergoing a significant transformation, which is expected to impact approximately 72 employees.
Bobby Thandi, founder and CEO of XR Video Games, recently confirmed that Hitman will continue to receive patch support. According to the latest patch notes, post-launch assistance appears set to persist.
