Have you had the chance to play through Helldivers 2 with one of the developers from Arrowhead recently? While it’s possible that a solution may be necessary, it was unlikely that anyone would have noticed or anticipated this development, as no one had been conducting thorough testing on the game, according to an Arrowhead publication aiming to put to rest lingering hypotheses through rigorous experimentation.
As the galaxy navigates its latest major conflict, the community remains abuzz with rumors surrounding the reactivation of the DSS, which has sparked debate about the true identity of certain developers sporting distinctively colored handles.
“Addressing rumors circulating among our community forums, I’d like to set the record straight: those threads featuring builders with distinct-colored names and markers, accompanied by speculation that they’re testing the game in a live environment, are actually just that – builders testing the game. No hidden agendas or mysteries here.”
Initially, they emphasized that: “During gameplay, refrain from exploiting or utilizing any development tags, distinct developer identifiers, or markers present in the game.” When we play Helldivers 2, our names may appear identical to yours. No problem, as developers will blend seamlessly into the classroom crowd, devoid of any distinctive “I’m a dev” cues or signals accompanying their name tags.
Subsequently, they clarified: “We don’t assess the sport within its natural environment.” When someone claims to be a developer yet starts conjuring up gadgets or peculiar behaviors, it’s likely they’re leveraging exploits to achieve this. Be vigilant, candy Helldivers. “Notify your local authorities of any perceived threats to democratic principles.”
So, there you go. You may encounter an Arrowhead, but it won’t be conducting tests or pretending to be a makeshift Santa Claus.
In recent updates on Helldivers, Johan Pilestedt, the game’s creative director, reassured fans on Twitter that the team is actively exploring the possibility of extending color customization options to include armor designs.
Are we unwittingly caught up in some sort of cyberpunk fantasy where claims of being Helldivers 2 devs are mere smoke and mirrors, or perhaps a clever ruse designed to deceive the masses? Tell us under!
