Take-Two Interactive has a robust pipeline of major releases planned for 2025 across its various publishing labels, including Rockstar Games and 2K, all set to launch next year. To avoid cannibalization, the company plans to stagger releases, allowing each game sufficient time to thrive in the market without competing with its own siblings.
During a recent interview with Selection, Take-Two Interactive’s CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked about the company’s strategy for planning the releases of its various video games. Zelnick explicitly stated that Take-Two’s forthcoming major titles would not be releasing in rapid succession, implying a deliberate strategy to pace the rollout of their flagship games.
“It’s fair to say that no one would deliberately release large quantities of software without a valid reason,” he remarked.
Among the four mentioned titles, the one scheduled for a February release has a confirmed agency launch date, while another two have a broader FY 2025-26 timeframe, and the fourth is slated for Fall 2025.
